BD Keyboard Pro is a keyboard. Keyboards can see everything you type, so this policy is short and strict: what you type stays on your phone.
What we never collect
- The text you type, your passwords, messages, search terms, or anything you write in other apps.
- Your clipboard contents.
- Your contacts, photos, files or location.
What the app sends to our server
Only anonymous, non-personal information, linked to a random install ID created on your phone (not your name, email or phone number):
- App and phone details: app version, Android version, phone model, language, and a country guessed from the network.
- Keyboard settings snapshot: which layouts are on (Phonetic, Jatiya, Bijoy, English), theme, font, which voice and AI engine you picked, and on/off switches such as suggestions or incognito.
- Usage counts: numbers only — for example "120 words typed with the Phonetic layout today" or "3 voice inputs". Never the words themselves.
- Crash reports: the technical error and where it happened in the app's code, so we can fix it.
- Feedback you send: only when you open the feedback form and press send — your message, optional rating, and optional contact (email or phone) if you choose to give one.
Voice typing and AI tools
When you use voice typing or an AI tool (for example "translate to Bangla" or "fix grammar"), the audio or the selected text is sent directly from your phone to the service you chose (Google, Groq, OpenAI, or your own server) to do that one job. It does not pass through our server and we do not store it. That service's own privacy policy applies.
API keys you enter are stored encrypted on your phone only.
Incognito
In incognito mode, and in password fields, the keyboard does not learn words or save clipboard history.
How long we keep data
Usage counts and device records are kept as long as they are useful for statistics, and deleted after at most 18 months of inactivity. Feedback is kept until it is resolved and then may be deleted.
Your choices
To have your install's data deleted, send feedback from the app asking for deletion (it includes your anonymous install ID).
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
